"Little Shop of Horrors" kicks off on Friday, February 15th, and runs for two consecutive weekends.
Seymour Krelbourn is a poor young man working at a run-down flower shop on skid row when he encounters a miracle. He discovers an alien plant after a total eclipse of the sun. After bringing the plant to the store, he gains fame, fortune, and love. The only defect is that the plant feeds on human blood. Seymour and the plant make a deal that if the plant continues to bring Seymour positive attention, he will in turn continue to feed the plant human bodies.
The play is a co-production of MCT and the DSPA (Desert Sun Performing Arts) Gems. Show times are 7:00 pm, February 15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, at the Maricopa Performing Arts Center, 45012 West Honeycutt Avenue.
Tickets are $10.00 in advance, $12.00 at the door, and may be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com.
Come on out, help support the arts in Maricopa, and have a great time!
