MCT announces grand opening of new facility

Maricopa Community Theatre will be holding a ribbon-cutting and open house for their new facility on Saturday September 7th.

The community is invited to the event, which will run from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, to enjoy food and drink, mingling, and preview their upcoming production of "Steel Magnolias".

MCT was founded in the spring of 2010 by local resident Carrie Vargas, and has been involved in producing 17 plays and musicals between its three theatre companies: Maricopa Children's Theatre, Maricopa Teen Conservatory Theatre, and their Main Stage Company.

MCT will also now have box office hours to purchase tickets in advance for their productions, and now has the ability to process credit cards.

The new facility is located at 41600 West Smith-Enke Road, Building 12, Suite 129, near the Maricopa Public Library.

Their newly designed website can be found at www.maricopacommunitytheatre.org.
